The waterways are aimed at increasing these countries’ international activity through the operation of the ports and conduction of economic, social, and environmental activities that allow for the establishment of relationships and also encourage the development.
Paraná-Uruguay Waterway: it ends at the Uruguayan port Nueva Palmira: it is located at the start of “Río de la Plata”. This port has channels with a depth of 32 and 36 feet; towboats and vessels of great size can sail along it.
Waterway of “Río Uruguay”: it starts in Brazil and it traces the limits of Paraguay, where we deliver bunkers in the terminal of Ultrapar in Encarnación.
In Uruguay, a large port has been set up for the bunkering of products: Nueva Palmira, and it ends in Montevideo.
Some important ports in the map are: Vallemi, Asunción, Pilar, Encarnación, Formosa, Corrientes, Santa Fe, San Lorenzo, Rosario, Villa Constitución, San Nicolás, San Pedro, Zárate, Campana, Ibicuy, Concepción del Uruguay, Buenos Aires, La Plata, Montevideo, Fray Bentos, and Palmira.
